Avocado Oil is a monounsaturated oil, light green in color. Is an edible oil pressed from the fruit of the Persea Americana (avocado). Avocado is a year-round crop, the tree is native to Mexico and Central America.
Reseacrh places avocado on par with olive oil for its healthful ratio of saturated and unsaturated fat.s It is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids and extremly low in saturated fat. It is high in vitamins A, B1, B2, D and E, licithin, and potassium, known as the youth mineral. It furthermore contains proteins, beta-carotene and no cholesterol.
